Sonia is the Co-Founder and Director of Born2Serve Single Mothers Initiatives (BSMI), as well as a Software Engineer at Google. She is passionate about empowerment and creating meaningful socio-economic changes, which inspired her to co-found Born2Serve.

As the Director of BSMI, Sonia led the first BSMI initiative, which focused on supporting single mothers in launching their own businesses. From guiding them through ideation and evaluation to overseeing successful business launches funded by Born2Serve. She also leads BSMI’s latest initiative, Cunda, a program in which BSMI empowers young single mothers by offering them professional tailoring training and job opportunities, working toward the creation of a brand uniquely crafted by single mothers.

In essence, Sonia is dedicated to fostering social change by equipping single mothers with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential.
